Thanksgiving was great! I love the whole meaning behind it, but I really don't enjoy the food so because of Jason we had steak and shrimp with green beans and yams for our dinner this year. Sorry, Jason again for not making it better than it was. We have to admit though we really missed our Utah family dinner and the all time famous rolls Grandma Davis makes!
Jason has two tests and two more finals to go these final weeks of school. But he was so kind and took the day before thanksgiving and thanksgiving off this week and spent sometime with me and the little ones. He had a lot of fun with us and we really enjoyed spending time with him. He is amazing and always positive with this whole medical school stuff. It helps that he likes what he does. We are so proud of daddy!
Jaycee got sick this week and had a little fever during thanksgiving day. I really don't like seeing her that way. The only positive thing from her getting sick is she becomes really cuddly with her momma. I love her cuddles. She loves saying bye and waving good bye as she walks around the house. And of course Jaycee enjoys dancing around the house. She is really enjoying the Christmas music.
Jackson is really enjoying himself. He has started to talk and interact with anyone who talks to him this week. He loves talking to anyone who will listen. Jack really enjoys his big sister and can make her laugh while he lays on her when she tries to hold him.
As for me, I have been enjoying my babies so much this week. They keep surprising me on how fast they are growing. I went through all their clothes and had to put all new sizes in their closet and pack up the rest. And I'm getting ready to put Jack into Jaycee's room since he has been sleeping almost through the night now.
Jason and me have been preparing for our first talks for sacrament this week as well. I also have the lesson this week as well. I now have a glimpse of what it is like for President Monson as he prepares for multiple talks for General Conference sometimes. Lucky him. 😊 Our talks went well and so did the lesson. Now I just hope Jaycee could start feeling better soon. Last but not least we ended the week by putting up our Christmas tree, Jaycee love the lights and as long as the ornaments are up high enough she leaves the tree be.
Oh and one more thing for all the November birthdays:
Happy Birthday Troya Huggard, Katy Davis, Tyler Davis, Becca Woolf, Cory Livers, Todd McHugh and Grant McHugh from the Davis Crew. And I hope I didn't forget anyone else with all those birthdays in November.
