Almost to the Finish Line!

Look at our cute tree. Barely had enough room in our house for it.
I'm going to be honest. I'm a little worn out from this week and really dreading this coming up week. The stress is here and I am just trying to stay positive. This last week I had Christmas music on every day to help me stay up beat. I think the fact that my Sunday is getting robbed from Jason and I is really making this last week hard.

Looking on the bright side of it all is that it is preparing me for the times I will not know when I see him next. It is also making me work and focus even more on our kids. (But I got to say I love nap time. It helps me re-energize.) Jason was also kind enough to go to our ward Christmas party on Friday that we were not planning on going to. And the Christmas spirit is helping all of our moods.

Jaycee was really grateful that daddy went to the Christmas party as well. She didn't leave our side the whole time we were at the party. She really has been missing her daddy. She goes to the front door a lot and calls his name. When he was home one night before she went to bed she kept trying to play with Jason by running away from him so he would chase her only to run back to him. Jaycee finally let me do her hair thanks to Jason's help in distracting her. Her hair is finally long enough to put in a little ponytail. She also helped me get out our scarves and hats and played dress up with her mommy.

Jack is doing well. He is in 3 months clothes already and is getting close to not fitting them. I'll have to start putting him in 3 to 6 months clothes soon. He hasn't tried to move or roll over yet. Jack does scoot a little bit around his crib at night. He is my little happy sunshine. He is always smiling, it has been needed these weeks of finals.

Jason is studying all the time. And stressed out a little more then usual this week because he got a flat tire the day before his test. Plus was up a little later then usual trying to get the tire replaced with the spare, but the tire wouldn't come off. He is proud to say how happy we are to pay a little more for road side assistance. So far Jason has done well on all his tests and finals. He is now buckling down even harder this week to get done with his test today his final on Tuesday another test on Thursday and last but not least a final on Friday. Go him!

Lets just say we are really excited for this coming up weekend so we can begin our 3 week break before next semester starts in January.
Notice anyone missing. :( He is that busy.

Relax before finals... I think yes!

Thanksgiving was great! I love the whole meaning behind it, but I really don't enjoy the food so because of Jason we had steak and shrimp with green beans and yams for our dinner this year. Sorry, Jason again for not making it better than it was. We have to admit though we really missed our Utah family dinner and the all time famous rolls Grandma Davis makes!

Jason has two tests and two more finals to go these final weeks of school. But he was so kind and took the day before thanksgiving and thanksgiving off this week and spent sometime with me and the little ones. He had a lot of fun with us and we really enjoyed spending time with him. He is amazing and always positive with this whole medical school stuff. It helps that he likes what he does. We are so proud of daddy!

Jaycee got sick this week and had a little fever during thanksgiving day. I really don't like seeing her that way. The only positive thing from her getting sick is she becomes really cuddly with her momma. I love her cuddles. She loves saying bye and waving good bye as she walks around the house. And of course Jaycee enjoys dancing around the house. She is really enjoying the Christmas music.

Jackson is really enjoying himself. He has started to talk and interact with anyone who talks to him this week. He loves talking to anyone who will listen. Jack really enjoys his big sister and can make her laugh while he lays on her when she tries to hold him.

As for me, I have been enjoying my babies so much this week. They keep surprising me on how fast they are growing. I went through all their clothes and had to put all new sizes in their closet and pack up the rest. And I'm getting ready to put Jack into Jaycee's room since he has been sleeping almost through the night now.

Jason and me have been preparing for our first talks for sacrament this week as well. I also have the lesson this week as well. I now have a glimpse of what it is like for President Monson as he prepares for multiple talks for General Conference sometimes. Lucky him. 😊 Our talks went well and so did the lesson. Now I just hope Jaycee could start feeling better soon. Last but not least we ended the week by putting up our Christmas tree, Jaycee love the lights and as long as the ornaments are up high enough she leaves the tree be.

Oh and one more thing for all the November birthdays:
Happy Birthday Troya Huggard, Katy Davis, Tyler Davis, Becca Woolf, Cory Livers, Todd McHugh and Grant McHugh from the Davis Crew. And I hope I didn't forget anyone else with all those birthdays in November.
